Release Date: February 24, 2016

Blurb:

Volyk learns very young that he has to hide what he is—oboroten’, shape-shifter—after his father is killed and skinned by a hunter, and the pack that takes in his pregnant mother is hostile to his kind. When Volyk is ordered to fight the pack’s beta to prove his fitness, but instead obeys his hormones and tries to mount him, he’s declared an abomination and forced to flee.
Ilya, too, hides a secret. Being young and gay in modern Russia is dangerous, and he knows it. But the truth eventually gets out, and his brothers lure him into the forest to kill him. They’re stopped by Volyk, who hides the mortally wounded Ilya in his den. The only way to heal the human is to turn him into an oboroten’.
Unfortunately, Ilya’s gentle nature is ill suited to the life of a wolf. But when Volyk’s old pack returns, seeking to take away Volyk’s magickal den, Ilya will have to embrace – truly become – the wolf Volyk made him, to save both his mate’s life and his own.

Words: 28,871 words

Categories: Erotica, Fantasy, Fiction, M/M Romance, Paranormal, Romance, Wolf Shifter

Excerpt:

And the angel said unto them, be not afraid…
Ilya was not afraid. Enraptured, yes. Entranced. But not afraid. He had been ready for death when he closed his eyes in the wolf’s embrace. Instead, he was whole, and awake, and in the arms of a man more handsome than any angel. Volyk’s long thick hair was the brown and gray of the wolf’s pelt, his cheekbones angular, his lips full. And his eyes were the same beautiful fiery amber as the wolf’s.
Maybe he had only dreamed the wolf. Or maybe he was still dreaming. Surely he had done nothing in his life to earn the gift this moment would be if it were real.

Meet the author:
Rory Ni Coileain majored in creative writing, back when Respectable Colleges didn’t offer such a major. She had to design it herself, at a university which boasted one professor willing to teach creative writing: a British surrealist who went nuts over students writing dancing bananas in the snow, but did not take well to high fantasy. Graduating Phi Beta Kappa at the age of nineteen, she sent off her first short story to an anthology that was being assembled by an author she idolized, and received one of those rejection letters that puts therapists’ kids through college. For the next thirty years or so she found other things to do, such as going to law school, ballet dancing (at more or less the same time), volunteering as a lawyer with Gay Men’s Health Crisis, and nightclub singing, until her stories started whispering to her. Currently, she’s a lawyer and a legal editor; the proud mother of a budding filmmaker; and is busily wedding her love of myth and legend to her passion for m/m romance. She is a three-time Rainbow Award finalist.

New Release: Alpha Blood Treat by Elena Kincaid #Paranormal #EroticRomance @EvernightPub

Alpha Blood Treat (Pack Warriors #2)
FREE READ

BLURB:

It had been years since the pack wars.  Some are still dealing with the fallout, but all have scars that have never fully healed. Despite all of this, Gemma, Jordan, and Kane have managed to build a happy life for themselves and their twin boys.

Their holidays may be bittersweet, but their love and passion for each other are even fierier than ever.  Will pack skirmishes, wayward security business clients, and rowdy little boys get in the way of a night full of promise, or will Jordan and Kane manage to fulfill Gemma’s every desire?

EXCERPT:

“I finally got the boys to—” Kane stopped dead in his tracks in the doorway to his bedroom, his words completely failing him due to the sight that greeted him.
Gemma was sprawled out in the center of their king-sized bed, wearing nothing but the wolf ears headband she wore earlier as part of her Halloween costume, her lips quirking into a sly little smile at the sight of him. A goddess, she was bare before him in a lazily relaxed pose. Her left leg was straight, her right, bent at the knee and spread open, revealing her glistening, pink pussy. Both arms were loosely stretched above her head in a pose that conveyed, come and get me and do to me what you will.
Kane would happily oblige as soon as he was able to get his frozen self to move.
He couldn’t help but marvel at her beauty for a moment more. She had him tied up in knots all evening with her sexy, little wolf outfit, the hilarity of her costume choice notwithstanding. The beige, faux-fur trimmed dress hugged her every curve, flaring out at mid thigh, and revealing just enough cleavage to be sexy, yet classy. That didn’t stop other males from ogling Gemma, something
that one angry, possessive look from either Jordan or Kane had them regretting. Completing her ensemble was a tail, faux-fur boots that went almost up to her knee, and the headband she was currently wearing. Damn, he and Jordan were two of the luckiest sons of bitches.
Sons of bitches who adamantly refused … for as long as they could … to wear any sort of costume. Kane had learned pretty quickly that he could not refuse Gemma anything that would make her and their three-year-old boys happy, especially if not giving in would make them unhappy. So he and Jordan begrudgingly donned last minute, makeshift costumes, which Kane had to also  begrudgingly admit, looked pretty bad ass!
He had applied some of Gemma’s makeup to make himself look like Eric Draven from The Crow—the black eye-liner and dark shadow only, since Gemma did not own any white face paint. The black leather pants, skin-tight, black, long-sleeved shirt, and black boots were already part of his wardrobe. He went sans the long, black coat because Jordan needed it for his costume. In addition to Kane’s coat, Jordan wore black slacks, a ribbed, black undershirt and black boots with buckles on them. When he put on his dark aviators, his Neo from The Matrix look was complete.
Gemma squealed with glee when they had surprised her with their costumes. Both characters were from two of her favorite movies. “You both look way hotter, though,” she had said. And from the scent of her arousal, Kane had no doubt she meant it.
“I think you boys deserve a treat later,” Gemma said with a devilish wink. She then sauntered off into the family room adding just a little extra sway to her hips.

Out Now! Ghosts of Emerald Bay @LibbyBRomance #Paranormal #Suspense @EvernightPub

Ghosts of Emerald Bay by Libby Bishop
Series: Revenant Investigations, book three

Blurb:

Kate Briar is enjoying her vacation when her boss calls her to the office about a job. As head researcher for Revenant Investigations—a paranormal investigation team—she’s unsure why he sounds so wary about her taking the case. After all, there’s very few people in Noble, Maine she’d refuse to work with. She’s even more uncertain about his hesitation when he announces that the case is one she’s dreamed of since she was a teenager. That is, until he tells her who she’ll be working with.
Murphy O’Keefe is a well-known legend hunter. He chases the legends of the dead for profit. Kate used to be good friends with him, and they were growing much closer before he betrayed her. She was helping him with a case when she woke up one morning to find all of her research and all of the artifacts she’d found gone—she hasn’t seen him since.
To keep things civil, she offers him a truce, not wanting to spoil the importance of the new case. But she doesn’t realize the turmoil of anger and attraction that truce will ignite. Nor that her fate is directly in the hands of the man that broke her heart.

Excerpt:

Sitting at his desk, Folger leaned his forearms against it and folded his hands together. “I’ll start by telling you the investigation is at the Norling Lighthouse.”
Excitement sparked within her at the name, and she couldn’t help but smile wide. “Folger! I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to investigate Norling since I was a teenager.”
Folger chuckled. “I know, which is why you’d be the perfect person for the job.”
“Exactly what does the client want?” The lighthouse was known to be haunted by three different ghosts, but it was rumored to be connected to the pirates who came through Noble during the summer months.
“The interest is in the ghost who walks the lighthouse, but the other ghosts should be noted as well. The most important thing for him, our client, is to find the lighthouse keeper’s journal, because he believes it’s somehow connected the pirate legend.”
The joy that was coursing through her drained away, and dread took its place. She understood now why both he and Arabella had kept the client’s name from her—it wasn’t a Noble resident. Their client was a legend-hunter: a person who hunted myths of the dead for profit.
“Kate, look at me.”
She met Folger’s gaze, which was filled with understanding.
“It’s Murphy O’Keefe.”
Her throat went dry and refused to work. Murphy was the one person on the face of the planet she never wanted to see again. Their last encounter was so engrained into memory, all she had to do was think about it and she was right back there in the moment, feeling the anger at his betrayal all over again.
“He has presented enough facts to the town council they’ve agreed to allow him to dig deeper into the lighthouse keeper, who, as you know, is the one haunting the lighthouse itself.” Folger leaned back in his chair. “They had a stipulation—Revenant Investigations is to send someone with him to document the investigation and help him search. They asked specifically for you since you know the history of the lighthouse and the pirates better than all of Noble, save Doyle,” he was the head of the Historical Society, “—but if you don’t want to do this, I’ll understand.”
Kate took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. She swallowed hard, the motion near painful. “Does he,” she cleared her throat, “have to be at the lighthouse? Can I investigate by myself or with another team member?”
Folger shook his head. “No. He has to be there—it was his stipulation. However, if you feel it necessary to bring in another member of the team, that’s what will be done.”
Kate crossed her legs, wondering what to do. This case was a dream case for her. She practically begged the Historical Society every year to let her go in for even just one night. But to deal with Murphy? She’d trusted him as a friend and teammate before she started with Revenant and he’d betrayed her. Gutted her, to be more exact. But still, the Norling Lighthouse…
What if she never got another chance to investigate?
“He can’t run with the goods, so to speak? He has an ironclad agreement with the council?”
Folger handed her a piece of paper. “I have the entire document on file, but that’s really all you need to see.”
She began to read it, very carefully.
“In summary, it states that Murphy cannot use any of the findings for profit. That includes documents, journals, jewelry, or any other historical artifact relating to the pirates of Emerald Bay and those who dwelled in the lighthouse, or once dwelled where the lighthouse and the keeper’s house now stand.”
That’s exactly what the paper she was holding stated. She’d read it four more times before handing it back to Folger. “No profit.”
“Not a penny. All he’ll receive is credit for helping find anything we don’t already know for a fact. He can’t even sell the story, Kate—Noble will control how everything will be announced and released.”
So Murphy would only get credit… Kate took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. “I’ll do it, Folger. I’ll take the case.”

Excerpt 7:

Chapter 4: Living With a Human Roommate—The Herbivore’s Dilemma
Ah, the human. Omnivores with definite carnivorish tendencies. For the herbivore, living with a human can be nerve-wracking, but there are tricks you can use to ensure your safety and comfort while living with these prickly and unpredictable creatures.
First off, understand that humans can be territorial. While food in the family herd or burrow will be shared, humans have a tendency to ‘claim’ objects as their own, including food. Therefore, it is extremely important to understand that a human’s food is never to be touched, no matter how tempting it is or how hungry you are.  Obviously, a good half of it will be unappetizing, but stay away from that salad!
Of course, humans as well are not always respecters of boundaries. With this in mind, there are certain strategies which can be recommended to allow for better relations with your human roommate.

One good idea to implement in every shared living situation is labelled storage.  Cupboards, bottles, boxes, shelves in the refrigerator. Since scent marking isn’t an effective means of indicating ownership, other methods must be use. Sticky labels, easily purchased from an office supply store, are a useful tool to avoid human predation on your food supplies. Simply write your name on them and apply them to whatever it is you want to protect from your human.  And if the human fails to recognize your boundaries, your next step…
