Today I’m sharing a teaser from CROSSROADS – MM Romance from Evernight Publishing. Enjoy!

My blond Adonis rubs shower gel over his chest, and I watch mesmerized, as he circles and pinches his nipples. He smiles seductively and reaches out to tug on the dark hair between my pecs. I pull him toward me for a kiss, loving the feel of his wet slippery body against mine. We fit together perfectly, like two halves of a whole. Jesse opens his mouth wide, and we give new meaning to sucking face. Kissing my lover is the best feeling in the world. I don’t want to stop, but he wiggles out of my arms and backs off.

EXCERPT:

The smell of food bore down sharply on her senses, and she moved swiftly through the trees and brush to follow it. She was almost silent in her footsteps. Her nose and ears told her everything she needed to know.
She stopped and sniffed the air. Then, she lowered herself behind brushes and trees and leaves, the autumn colors hiding her tawny, black, and bits of white perfectly. She waited…
There it was. Dinner. From the west, unaware and getting closer.
The whitetail came into view seconds later, dipping its head to a mountain stream. It was rare that a doe was alone this time of year, but here she was. At the perfect angle.
She lowered herself more, preparing, using her expert hunting skills and knowledge to make the kill. She was very patient.
Then, with a burst of speed and precision, she attacked. The deer realized her fate far too late and only ran but a few yards. Teeth sank into the neck, and within moments, dinner was served.
****
It was the time of year. She just had to hunt more often to work off the extra rush of hormones and need to feed. She was always careful, staying close to or on her vast property. But today was different. She was on a friend’s property, a trusted friend who was out of town for the day. After retrieving her clothes from the porch of the friend’s home, she jogged to her truck and grabbed a pen and paper from the glove box. She wrote a thank you note and IOU for the hunting. Then, she got back to her truck and took off over the mountain to her house…on the dirt back roads.
She couldn’t help but go a bit too fast today, knowing who would be traversing them as well.
The flashing red lights in her rearview as she turned a corner made her grin. She hoped he was in a playful mood this evening—knowing he was on duty had been the reason she’d picked this route home. Her grin widened as a six-foot-two redhead stepped out of his own truck to walk to hers.
            She rolled her window down.
The fair-skinned man grinned back as he rested his arms on the door. “Cilla Walton, you know better than to drive that fast on this road.”
Her blue eyes met his brown ones. “Aw, come on, Riley.” She tried to look as sincere as possible. “I was only doing fifty/fifty-five.”
He chuckled. “On a forty mile an hour road.”
She laughed softly, loving the scent rolling off of him. She knew he was smelling her as well. “Riley Cooper, are you going to give me a ticket?”
He leaned in the window about an inch, inhaling. His grin turned wicked, suggesting all sorts of tempting things. She tried not to visibly shiver.
            She won.
“Not tonight, I’m afraid. I’m heading for my parents’ house for dinner with them and my brothers. As you know, my mom’s birthday is tomorrow.”
“Yes. I have something for her,” she replied. “I’m also taking her shopping over in Burlington in the morning, with Ginger and my sister Cat.”
            “Dad talked to you.”
She nodded. “We’ll be back before dinner, around four-thirty.”
He leaned against her door and reached a hand in to move stray strands of her tawny-colored hair behind her ear. “You’ve been out hunting…and you got the kill.”
She smiled softly. “Of course I did.”
            “Over at Ram and Mara’s?”
            She nodded.
“Yeah, Ram mentioned you asked permission to hunt on his and Mara’s land. Why?”
She shrugged. “I just wanted a different place to hunt—the deer near my house are getting suspicious.” She winked.
            He chuckled.
Shiver, shiver, shiver… She managed to hide the shiver, but not the scent it caused. Damn autumn air.
            “I’ll see you tomorrow, then?”
“Yes, you will. And by the way,” she said as he stepped away from the door while she put it back in gear, “you smell edible.”
He grinned. “So do you, babe. And I plan on remedying that soon.”

Farm Fresh by Posy Roberts

Release Date: January 28, 2016
Blurb:
Jude Garrity visits the farmers market every Saturday. As an environmental engineering student, he’s curious about living off the grid and sustainable agriculture.

And one particular farmer.

Hudson Oliva has worked hard to support his commune, where queer people live without fear of harm or retribution. When Jude asks pointed questions about living there, Hudson realizes he needs to be honest about his home. Few people know what the farm is actually about, but Jude is insistent.

Jude moves to Kaleidoscope Gardens, however, his sexual hang-ups make it hard to adjust. He’s an uptight virgin living among people who have sex freely and with multiple partners. When Jude finally loosens up, Hudson is flooded with emotions. Falling for Jude wasn’t part of Hudson’s life plan. But when vindictive rumors about the commune begin to spread, love might be all he has left.

Pages or Words: 202 pages, 63,000 words

Categories: Contemporary, Fiction, Gay Fiction, M/M Romance, Ménage/Poly, Romance

Excerpt:
“You wanted to know where I’m from,” Hudson said. Jude nodded but remained tight-lipped. “I grew up north of Miami in a small city. I couldn’t wait to get out, so I tried to hitch a ride to Seattle. Didn’t get that far.”
“How far did you get?” Jude looked surprised as he asked, so Hudson reached out and pressed his palm to the center of Jude’s chest.
“About five miles away. I’ve been here ever since.”
“What made you run? I mean… maybe that’s too personal.”
Hudson coasted his hand over the slight swell of Jude’s pec and thumbed over his nipple, which stood at attention, pert and flushed, like his lips and cheeks. It was a good color on him.
“My parents sent me away to one of those ‘pray away the gay’ places, which obviously didn’t work, but it probably saved my life since my mom had to haul Papi off me when she told him why I needed to go there. He had so much pride, and having a gay son wasn’t something he could live with. It was as if me being gay made him gay. I was accosted by religion and hatred for who I was from that day until I left, so I became an expert at being secretive and learned to lie through my teeth while living with them. My eighteenth birthday Papi and I fought, and I ended up with another black eye. I packed a bag and snuck out of the house while they were sleeping.”
“Did they call the cops or anything?”
Hudson shook his head and knew his smile was pathetic. He still held hope he and his father could reconcile. He knew Papi would be proud of him and what he’d accomplished on the commune. “I left a note and eventually let them know my address, but in all the years, I’ve gotten one letter.”
“I’ve talked to my parents twice since I left, and both times left me feeling shredded inside.”
“I’m sorry.” Hudson scooted closer and pulled Jude into a tight embrace. The feel of Jude’s warm skin against his own had Hudson’s body responding in no time flat. He kissed Jude’s neck and the sharp line of his jaw. He thrust his fingers into Jude’s spun-gold hair and drew their mouths together.
Jude moved his lips, pressing chaste kisses to Hudson’s, and then he snaked his arm between their bodies. Jude splayed his fingers across Hudson’s chest and pushed him away. He hung his head, looking down at the mattress in what appeared to be shame.
Hudson took the sting out of the rejection by thumbing over Jude’s bottom lip, shiny with saliva. “You have a delectable mouth, like it’s made for kissing.”
Jude laughed. “So do you.” Then he bit his lip and made brief eye contact before scooting back a few inches.

An Exclusive Excerpt from PLAYING HOUSE by Tammy J. Palmer #ContemporaryRomance @GoddessFish

Playing House

by
Tammy J. Palmer

BLURB:

Ginny Cotton, bike riding, chess playing, loan processor, has set a new goal: find someone to have sex with. Soon. As in tonight. It’s the only way to finally get over Jason, her best friend, the guy she’s been waiting for since high school--- the guy who is now engaged to her sister. She’s saved her virginity for him since he doesn't believe in premarital sex. What better way to get over Jason than to have sex with someone else? The hot guy Ginny meets through a dating site seems like the perfect choice. There’s only one problem. To achieve her goal, Ginny must first overcome the anxiety that has been holding her back her whole life.

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT

Ginny climbed into the claw foot bathtub and then onto the edge of the tub. It wasn’t a big window. With her purse around her neck, she hoisted herself onto the windowsill, so that her head and torso were out the window, her lower half still inside. What now? Fall on her face? This wasn’t going to work. Feet first that was the only way. She tried again. The first foot was easy, the second a bit trickier. She had to hold onto the sides of the window to keep from falling back into the tub and possibly breaking her skull. Once she was sitting on the sill with her legs outside and her torso inside, she had to bend her back limbo style to get through. This was a challenge for Ginny, as she’d never been particularly flexible. She pushed off from the sill, and hoped for the best.

“Ow, ow ow,” she cried, holding her boobs, which had nearly been scraped off by the window.

At least she was out. Now all she had to do was get to her car without being seen.

“Hi Ginny.”

It was Cousin Angel. Ginny held a finger to her lips, “Pretend you didn’t see me, okay?”

The girl’s eyes widened. Not waiting for assurances, Ginny snuck around the back of the house. Peeking around the porch, she saw that her car had been blocked in. Damn, damn, damn. Why hadn’t she thought to park on the street? The answer, of course, was that she hadn’t planned to make her escape before the wedding began. Another car pulled in. She watched Hank and Britney get out. Did they know about the bet, too? If Britney didn’t she would soon. Ginny imagined her telling Hank all about it, and the two of them feeling sorry for poor Ginny. She couldn't face them, not now.

The barn, she decided. She would hide in the barn until this was all over with.

Pages or Words: 145 pages, 51,039 words

Categories: Contemporary, Crime Fiction, Erotica, M/M Romance, Mystery, Thriller

Excerpt:

His thoughts drifted to Diego. He couldn’t imagine any uniformed man showing up who could be any hotter than Diego. Maybe he’d have to reassess his belief that uniformed men were sexier than all other men. If I ever find out what Diego actually does for a living.
“And of course we also have Cole showing up to represent SWAT as well as some search and rescue guy.”
“Search and rescue guy? From the volunteer place or LVMPD?”
“Vegas Metro Police.”
“What’s his-?”
“Rich?”
He froze. He’d recognize the orgasm-inducing voice anywhere. Rich slowly turned on his heel to the vision of a fully uniformed Diego standing before him. Slung over the arm of his long-sleeved green khaki shirt was a white fiberglass helmet with ‘LVMPD Search & Rescue’ stamped on the back and both sides.
“Well.” He swallowed hard, ‘stunned’ too tame a description for his feelings. “I guess even more questions have been answered.”
He had no idea what else to say. He’d been so convinced that Diego was some sort of crazed but misunderstood outlaw, that he couldn’t wrap his brain around him being a part of law enforcement. Or saving people. Or whatever it was that he did exactly.
Thanks Artie.
To Rich’s relief, the way Diego always stared at him hadn’t changed. His lips were quirked in the familiar smile that made Rich’s heart flutter and damn, he wore that uniform well. Case closed. Uniformed men won.
Diego held Rich’s gaze as he clutched at his helmet. Rich wondered if it was because he wanted to touch him. He certainly hoped so.
“I take it the shelter is why you’re so busy all the time?”
Rich shrugged his shoulders. “Yeah. That would be it.”
“Do you volunteer or work nights here?”
“This is technically first date stuff.” Rich couldn’t keep the laughter out of his voice.
Austin cleared his throat. “Looks as though you guys don’t need any introduction, so I’ll go do…something else.”
Rich snapped out of his Diego trance. “Oh, hey. Sorry. Austin, this is Diego Espinoza. He’s…well, according to that helmet, he does something for LVMPD Search & Rescue. Diego, this is Austin. He’s one of our main volunteers and biggest contributor to the swear jar. He also works for the DA as an investigative technician.”
Diego extended his hand to Austin, his smile genuine. “Nice to meet you.” Diego glanced between them both. “I have my gear bag with me as well as ropes, belays and a litter. I can use them as visual aids, maybe tie some knots with the kids. Depends on how much time you’re giving each of us.”
Austin consulted the Brett chart. “Uh, let’s see. We’re doing fifteen minutes per guest, with an additional five minutes for questions. We have two six foot long tables pushed together that you can use as a staging area for anything you want to demonstrate.”
Diego looked in the direction where Austin had pointed. “That’ll work.” He turned back to them, but his gaze landed on Rich. “Can’t land my Huey on it, but what can you do?” Diego winked at him. “It’s not as sexy as a Harley, but I think it’s a pretty sweet ride.”
It was a dream. It had to be. “Wow.” He snapped his mouth closed. Diego so totally had him and they both knew it.
