Out Now! To Be Yours by C.R. Moss #PNR #Romance

 To Be Yours

* An eccentric and eclectic writer, C.R. Moss pens stories for the mainstream and erotic romance markets, giving readers a choice of sweet, savory or spicy reads, usually within a sub-genre or two — paranormal, sci-fi/fantasy, time travel, or western flare. She also has a passion for penning dark fiction. Writing as Casey Moss, she delves into the darker aspects of life in her work, sometimes basing the stories on reality, sometimes on myth. No matter the path, her stories will take you on a journey from the lighthearted paranormal to dark things unspeakable. What waits around the corner? Come explore…

A look into...
~ About the Series ~
* Nestled within the hills of central Texas is a special ranch. A place that defies the laws of physics—that of time, space, and dimensions. It’s a place where normal morphs with the paranormal and supernatural. A place that seems to know what a person’s true desires and needs are, and then allows the right circumstances to occur to fulfill those wishes.

* Welcome to the Gateway Ranch.

* Your gateway to all things possible…
~ About the Book ~
* Katrina Foster has survived a life no one dreams about and most don’t want to know about. Escaping to a ranch in Texas she used to visit during the summers of her childhood and rekindling an old relationship with Dakota Remington, she hopes to leave the nightmare of her past behind her. At first, all seems well, but when strange things begin to happen, she wonders if history’s about to repeat itself.

* Dakota Remington has devoted his life to working at Gateway Ranch. He’s excited when Kat, his former sweetheart, returns and looks forward to reuniting with her. He finds she’s changed, though, and he’s not sure if it’s for the better. But he’s up for the challenge of the puzzle that is Kat.

~ Excerpt ~
* The hard composite of her firearm shifted against her lower back.

* Well, if push comes to shove, I can protect myself. I’ll shoot the bastard if he shows up and tries anything.

* Eventually, her nerves calmed enough so she could move without feeling ill.

* She rose and stripped out of her clothes, put her weapon on the counter, then stepped into the shower. The hard and hot spray beat on her, helping her to feel something other than worry about potential rumors or her ex finding her. Kat bowed her head, placed her hands above the faucets. The water sluiced down her hair, cascaded in wide streams over her back. More time passed. Relaxed and clear headed, she finished her shower and was about to open the door when a thud and click sounded on the other side.

* Gripping the towel wrapped around her body, she snatched her weapon, opened the door, and cautiously looked out into the room.

* Dakota lounged on the bed, one leg bent, his hat propped on that leg’s knee. His hair stuck up in clumpy spikes. He ran a dirty hand through his dark brown locks.

* Kat released a pent-up breath, lowered her weapon, and placed the Glock on a counter next to the bathroom door. “How’d you get in here?”

* Tired eyes gazed at her. “I’m manager on duty while the Taggerts are away, ’member? Got a bunch of master keys.” Dak held up the ring of them. “You okay? When you didn’t come back, I got worried.”

* “I’m fine. I think the humidity got to me. Along with the dirt.”

* “Sure. The humidity. You tell me that you’re afraid a man is going to come after you, or rather us. We hear about the vehicle. You turn white as one of our ghosts and run off. Who was in the car, Kat?”

* “Hell if I know. I’ve been with you all day. I didn’t see the fancy black car or who was in it.”

* “You don’t have a clue as to who was in the car? I’m not buying it.”

* “Buy it or don’t.” She crossed her arms over her stomach. “I really don’t know. It could have been Nero. It could have been his goons. It could have been a neighbor of yours or one of the party guests Kent mentioned. I. Wasn’t. There. I. Didn’t. See.”

* Dakota flung himself off the bed and slammed the hat on his head. “Get dressed. You’ll come with me while I get cleaned up then we’ll go hang out in the rec hall.”

* “You know what, Dak? I appreciate the Boy Scout approach, and how you’re trying to get a merit badge for babysitting, but all I want is to lie down and take a nap.”

* “Kat, please. I’m hot, dirty, and tired. I don’t want to argue.” He strode to the door. “Get dressed so we can get going.” His gaze flashed darkly, roamed over her with an appraising glance. A slow grin tipped up the corner of his lips.

Release date:  January 28, 2020
Genre: Romantic Comedy, Contemporary Romance
Cover Designer:  Hang Le
Editor: Elisa Reed
Audiobook narrator: Erin Mallon

Description:

AN ALL-NEW STANDALONE FROM NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR JULIA KENT

I’m not too proud to admit that finding Mr. Right involves swiping right. Right? Welcome to dating in avocado toastland.

Here I am, on my first blind date, ever, courtesy of a smartphone app and my two annoying best friends.

So what is Chris “Fletch” Fletcher doing, walking across the room, looking at his phone like he’s pattern matching a picture to find a real person he’s never met before?

Oh.

Oh, no.

The guy I drop-kicked in seventh grade cannot be my blind date. The guy who earned me this infernal nickname.

That’s right.

Feisty.

More from New York Times bestselling author Julia Kent as Fiona “Feisty” Gaskill gets her chance at love - drop-kick included.

Excerpt 4:

I charge Fletch, channeling it all, giving him what he's asking for.

He moves as I plow into the bag, my body still unable to attack him directly, his hands on my waist as I spin. Dropping to the ground, I use my lower position to twist out of his grasp, leg cocked and ready, but he's fast.

So fast.

Sweat sprouts all over my body like someone's misting me, the sudden crush of hormones, heat, and the pounding physicality of what we're doing making me wet.

In more ways than one.

I'm a mixture of revulsion and arousal, hating myself for feeling this way as his arms encircle me, my mind split between re-igniting the terror of the preschool attack and the very real, visceral feel of Fletch's skin against mine, welcoming the rutting, animal-like push of his slick thigh muscles against my arm as I fight him, working to pin him.

Failing miserably.

By the time we're done, this scrimmage is a joke, his body pressing me into the ground, arms immovable, my breath heating his nose as he looks down on me with a grin.

And then that fades.

Replaced by the unfiltered expression of a man who is falling. Falling, falling, falling into me.

Like time itself has collapsed.

And the sheer force of attraction is how we propel ourselves forward.

“This is great!” Michael shouts from the sidelines, the click click click of his shutter breaking the silence, Fletch's hips digging into mine, his hardness making it clear how he feels about me.

He doesn't move. My wrists are pressed into the mat, my hair tugging at the roots, caught under my shoulder blades.

“See?” he whispers in the space between us. “Not happening again. You kicked my ass in seventh grade. But we're not tweens now, are we?”

As he says the words, my nipples harden, a yearning in the form of flesh centering between my legs. All I want to do right now is wrap my ankles around his waist and be screwed four ways to Sunday.

If that's even really a thing.

“No,” I gasp, fighting and failing to be freed. “We're not. And if we're not, then what are we?”

“You tell me, Fiona. What are we?”

All the oxygen in the room rushes out. I'm left in space, floating, aimless and without anchor.

Jolene was wrong.

So wrong.

Space isn't my friend. It's my enemy. It's where everything safe becomes dangerous.

Where Fletch becomes the good guy.

The hot guy.

The I-need-him-in-me guy.

And where it's all caught on camera.

Because this journey started there, with Rico and cameras and people watching me because they can.

As Michael shoots photos and dictates angles, all I feel is Fletch's rum-THUM-rum-THUM beat, his heart against mine, telling me stories that go back seventeen years.

Before my heart wall had turrets. Before my heart wall had defenses and gun mounts and cannons.

Before I had a wall around my heart at all.

The kiss comes, unexpected but oh, so right. Fletch's mouth is inevitable, lips on mine like fate herself stepped into the frame and ordered us to do this. Logically, it makes no sense, but emotionally, it’s what the universe dictates, the kiss aligning so many layers of my being that it's almost painful how perfect this is.

His hands loosen at my wrists, one threading its way through my hair, tugging just enough to break the sensuality of this moment, but also brutal enough to make my hips rise up and beg for more. His tongue is exploring me like no good guy should, nothing but bad and filthy and raunchy and a promise of slick, hot, no-holds-barred sex if I just let him in, just let him try, just let him–

Just plain old let him.

But first, I have to let myself.

Author Bio:

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 2 million books, with 4 New York Times bestsellers and more than 19 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French and German, with more titles releasing in 2020 and beyond.

From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men's room toilet (and he isn't a billionaire she met in a romantic comedy).

She lives in New England with her husband and three children where she is the only person in the household with the gene required to change empty toilet paper rolls.

Goddess of the Wild Thing by Paul DeBlassie III #AuthorInterview #thriller #giveaway @GoddessFish

Goddess of the Wild Thing
by Paul DeBlassie III

BLURB:

Winner of the Independent Press Award and the NYC Big Book Award for Visionary Fiction!

Eve Sanchez, a scholar of esoteric studies, is driven into unreal dimensions of horror and hope as she encounters a seductive and frightening man, criminal lawyer Sam Shear.

Sam introduces Eve to a supernatural world in which the wicked powers of a surrogate mother’s twisted affection threaten love and life. Struggling to sort through right from wrong, frightened yet determined, Eve nears despair.

Goddess of the Wild Thing reveals the dramatic tale of one woman’s spiritual journey where metaphysical happenings, unexpected turns of fate, and unseen forces impact her ability to love and be loved.

In the magical realm of Aztlan del Sur, a mythopoeic land of hidden horrors and guiding spirits, Eve, with three friends and a wise old woman, is caught in an age-old struggle about love—whether bad love is better than no love— and discovers that love is a wild thing.

Excerpt Three:

“Shirley spoke up, “Maybe we just gotta give it up and say there’s no good out there and no damn good men.” Shirley spat on the sidewalk, as she was prone to do when attitudes turned south and a pissed-off mood overrode a physician’s reserve. A petite woman, hovering around five-foot-three, she was a spitfire to friends and foes. Her red hair was a fine match for her spicy temperament. She never hesitated to snap her tongue, making an envious woman or cocky man shrivel and long to crawl into a nearby hole and cry. Shirley lived as a healer and a warrior, a woman who cared tenderly for the hurting and raged viciously at pretense and abuse.

Eve, Shirley, and two other friends, Tanya and Samantha, were plagued by man troubles the way pollution settles in during dusty days and humid nights in the Middle Rio Grande Valley of Aztlan del Sur. They were four esteemed professional women who could have any man they chose. Yet time and again, they went for the lower, the bad, the  worst. They sabotaged the good, the permanent. Commitment was a frightening consideration for four women who’d suffered childhoods of parental dysfunctional neglect and split-ups. They often quipped, “We found each other because like finds like.” Tonight, Eve’s troubles were front and center. She’d done it again or at least worried she had. The glitch in the man was in the type she attracted: charmers—striking and untrue. Suffering had begun. Time was critical. To stick it out or get out was her dilemma.  Things with a new man had taken a terrifying turn.”

Author Interview

Would you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am a psychotherapist and writer of visionary thrillers. I live with Kate, an artist and my wife of 40 years. We’ve raised four wonderful children – writers and artists one and all.

Can you tell us, in your own words not the book description, a little about your book?
Goddess of the Wild Thing looks at love and whether bad love is better than no love. People ache for love, and Goddess of the Wild Thing goes into the ache and how from that pain mysterious happenings lead to unexpected results.

Do you think you will have a follow up book to this novel or is it just a stand-alone novel?
My visionary thrillers tie into one another as equal novels that share common magical themes, references to similar characters, and all take place in the mystic land of Aztlan (New Mexico).

What do you love about writing in general?
Words are a psychic narcotic, a real high. When I wrote Goddess of the Wild Thing there was a sense of being transported to another realm filled with mystery, insight, and age-old wisdom. I loved it!

What advice can you give aspiring Authors in your genre?
If you feel it do it. Doubts come, fears abound, but inspiration was there from the beginning, so see it through to the end. You felt what you felt, the need to write, so stay true to that feeling and true to your dream.

What is in your WIP or next book you thought about writing?
After writing The Unholy and Goddess of the Wild Thing I’ve thought about resting; but the resting is in the living and writing that are an everyday experience. The new book The Goddess of Everything is a hottie  – there’s a woman who thinks she all that and more to boot - can control, cajole, and bag whomever and whatever her nefarious heart desires. It’s a visionary thriller of mother love gone bad and a son’s desire to break free. There’s twist and turns and an unexpected heroine – The Goddess of Everything!

Dingo (Devil’s Fury MC) by Harley Wylde #NewAdult #Romance #giveaway @ChangelingPress

Dingo
Harley Wylde
(Devil’s Fury MC)
Published by: Changeling Press
Publication date: February 14th 2020
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance
Meiling – All I’ve ever known was pain. My life has been far from a fairytale. No parents. No friends. Just an endless nightmare that I can’t wake from. Until the day a man offered me his hand and promised to keep me safe. I’ve never trusted anyone before, but there’s something about him. Maybe it’s insane, but I know he won’t hurt me, and when he puts his arms around me, for the first time in my life I feel loved.
Dingo – I’ve always had a soft spot for women and kids in trouble. One look at Meiling, and I knew I had to protect her at any cost. The beautiful girl with the wounded soul. After all she’s suffered, all I want is to make her smile, make her feel secure, and give her a chance to find happiness. But first, I need to take out the men and women responsible for hurting her. It might get ugly, and messy, but they don’t call me Dingo for nothing. I’m a crazy bastard and I won’t stop until she’s safe. I just didn’t count on falling for her along the way.
Warning: Meiling’s past isn’t pretty. Dingo and Meiling’s story deals with issues of human trafficking, bureaucratic corruption, and vigilante justice. This book contains darker themes that may trigger some readers.
EXCERPT:
“Sit right here, sugar. I’ll get Beau to make you something to eat.”
Once I made sure she would stay put, and the others would remain at their table, I went to the bar and spoke to Beau. He kept watching Mei, concern for her evident by the haunted look in his eyes and his jerky motions. It was like he wanted to go to her, but wasn’t sure how she’d take it. I’d never seen him like this before, and I wondered if there was something more between them. My stomach churned at the thought, which was ridiculous. I’d only laid eyes on her today. It wasn’t like she was mine.
“Is she… will she be all right?” Beau asked. “I didn’t know she was in that place.”
“She’s important to you,” I said, hoping he’d offer up more information. All I knew was that he’d known Mei when he was younger. He hadn’t given us much more when he’d asked the club for help getting her away from the Ruby Slipper.
“Mei’s a part of my past, but I never should have left her. Maybe if I’d found a way to go back for her, then she wouldn’t have ended up…” He clamped his mouth shut, but I heard the unspoken words just the same. She wouldn’t have become a prostitute.
“Beau, you can’t blame yourself. When you came here, you were just a kid. Hell, you’re still a kid. If you’d gone after her, who’s to say you wouldn’t be the one whoring yourself out?” I said what I thought he needed to hear, but it made me wonder if he was right. Had Mei ended up where she did because he’d left her behind? What exactly had he been running from?
He winced and looked away, but it made me wonder about his life before he found the club. Or rather, before Grizzly found him. The old man did have a habit of bringing home strays. It’s how he’d ended up with his daughters, and I had no doubt that when he ran across another kid who needed help, he’d bring them home too. It was just his way. It was part of what pissed me off so much about how they’d handled Mei when she’d arrived today, and why I’d intervened when I did. I still didn’t know what the fuck was going on. I’d have never thought Demon or Grizzly would be like that with a woman in need.
“She needs food and clothes,” I said. “You handle the food, and I’ll send someone after some clothing for her.”
“I don’t think she has money for that kind of thing.”
I narrowed my gaze at him. As if I’d expected her to pay? It was obvious she’d been struggling, and had taken a trip through hell along the way. I wasn’t a big enough asshole to make her pay for stuff she hadn’t even asked for, and the fact Beau thought that made me want to put my fist through his face, but I refrained — for Mei’s sake. I still didn’t know how close the two of them had been, and I didn’t want to upset her.
“Just make the fucking food, Prospect.”
He dropped his gaze and gave a nod before heading into the kitchen. I motioned over another Prospect and reached for a piece of paper and pen from behind the bar. I scribbled Mei’s sizes and made a few notes of specifically what I wanted him to purchase, then pulled out a wad of cash from my wallet.
“Henry, I want you to take this and buy what’s on the list. Not a damn thing that isn’t on there, understood?” I asked, handing him the money and paper.
“Got it, Dingo.” He shifted from foot to foot. “Where do I take it once I get back?”
I looked over at Mei and then the officers at the table. The way Demon watched her had me clenching my teeth. No fucking way I was letting her out of my sight. Well, not unless they ordered me to hand her over, and even then, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to. She was young and defenseless. Some caveman piece of me demanded that I beat my chest and warn the others off, let them know she was mine. Except she wasn’t.
“Bring it to my place,” I said.
“You got it.”

Excerpt:

Holly rolled to her side, plucked a daisy, and pulled off the first white petal. “He loves me,” she said in a sing-song tone. “He loves me not.” She slid to his side as she tossed the next petal over her shoulder. As she continued, he mentally counted ahead of her and was pleased that the game ended in his favor.

But she put the daisy down when there were three petals left and picked up her glass. What the hell?

“Hey,” he protested, narrowing his eyes. “You didn’t finish.”

She shrugged. “It’s all fun and games.”

He didn’t know why it mattered so much, but it did. Even though he knew it was silly, he couldn’t let it go.

“You can’t stop in the middle.” He took her glass and put it on the ground.

She gave him a playful nudge. “Who are you—the game cop?”

He caught her wrist and rolled on top of her. “Maybe I am,” he said, his voice low and husky. “Maybe it matters.”

She pushed him off her and reversed their positions so she was on top. “I’ll give you something that matters.”

He liked where this was going. Grinning, he lifted his palms. “I’m at your beck and call.”

She let out a low laugh. The soft, sexy sound reverberated through his insides, making him feel playful and nostalgic, and with Holly stretched on top of him, a little randy, too.

“Whatever I want?” she asked, her breath hot against his cheek.

Throwback Thursday: THE RULES by Gale Stanley #gay #romance #BDSM @EvernightPub

THE RULES by Gale Stanley

Genre: contemporary, gay romance, BDSM

Blurb

Willis Rice has been a Dom for over ten years, but he has yet to find the perfect submissive to share his dark desires. Maybe he wants too much. He’s looking for the whole package—a partner, a lover, a man who will trust him enough to surrender body and mind.

At an underground sex party, Wil finds the submissive man of his wet dreams. He hopes their scene will lead to more, but Aiden belongs to someone else. When Wil discovers Aiden’s Master is Arthur Wright, chief of police, he knows he should walk away, but he’s hooked. He can’t get Aiden out of his head, and he’ll do anything to get his hands on the boy again.

Excerpt

Motherfuck! Wil cursed silently, he never liked losing, but in truth, he wasn’t all that upset. The Thai boy would have been fun but Wil wanted more. He wanted to feel… a spark, chemistry, something. When he spotted the right man, he wouldn’t have to think about it, he’d know immediately. But, it looked like tonight would be another bust. Every time Wil went to one of these parties, he started out with high hopes of meeting someone special, but the evening always ended with him settling for something less. Tonight he might end up completely alone.

Suddenly, a spotlight came on, illuminating an empty platform with a Saint Andrew’s cross at one end. Wil made his way over, and stood in the shadows, waiting for the show. The minutes dragged on, allowing the audience to grow and anticipation to build. Finally, a young man climbed onto the platform, but someone much taller than Wil’s six foot two, stepped in front of him. The Goliath, in jeans and a studded harness, completely blocked Wil’s view. Cursing under his breath, Wil squeezed past Goliath, and edged closer to the stage.

The young man on display pulled a tie from his hair, and released a thick auburn mane that matched his flushed cheeks. His hair glowed like fire under the spotlight, making his blue eyes appear cold by comparison. Wil’s breath caught. In his experience, redheads made the most adventurous, passionate, and yes, dangerous lovers. He’d always been a big believer in first impressions. Usually he made up his mind about a new sub within thirty seconds. Tonight it was closer to fifteen.

Young. Smaller than me. Black muscle shirt. Skinny jeans. Short black combat boots.

The overall look screamed ‘submissive boy looking for a Master’, but Wil saw so much more.

Fearful, yet cocky. Savage, yet sweet. Submissive, yet prideful. Untrained, yet intelligent.

Wil was intrigued.

Who are you? What are you doing here?

Flashing a fake smile, the boy peeled away his shirt. The dusting of red-gold hair between toned pecs gave Wil a boner. He’d never been a big fan of the shaved look. So far, he liked everything he saw. Even watching the redhead pull his boots off was a turn-on. Wil shifted his stance to give his rapidly growing erection some breathing room.

The boy turned his back and shoved his jeans over slim hips. Wil shuddered, imagining that firm, tight, white ass covered with cum after a good hard fucking. The boy turned again, giving Wil a glimpse of the wild bush at his groin. Perfect. The lack of grooming told Wil the boy was probably new to the scene and not tied to anyone. God, what I could teach him… Wil’s gaze fixed on the redhead with a desperate fascination. He knew if he looked away, the boy would disappear like a mirage.

When Ella is granted guardianship of three boisterous children under the misconception that she and AJ are a couple, AJ surprises her by going along with the charade. Before long they find themselves in a make-shift family that feels more real than pretend.

As their professional relationship takes a hard turn for the personal, a single overheard conversation could make it all go up in flames. Will Ella and AJ’s romance hit the wall, or will love take the checkered flag?

The Perfect Lap is the second standalone novel in the Racing Hearts of Serenity romance series. If you like bad boys with a heart of gold, strong women, and love stories with a new age twist, then you’ll adore Sedona Hutton’s fun, sexy tale.

“You’re too hard on yourself, darlin’,” he said. “You’re the most focused, persistent woman I’ve ever met.” He lifted her chin and gazed into her eyes. His eyes were a deep, soulful blue and as he intimately held her gaze, it reminded her of their first meeting and their instant, almost spiritual connection. “You’re kind, compassionate, caring.” His voice was so low that it was more like a whisper fluttering against her cheek. “The kids need that.”

She’d barely processed his sweet words when he leaned in.

He was going to kiss her! Holding her breath, she told herself to step back. It wasn’t appropriate—they were working together, he wasn’t her type, she was on a man-ban. The reasons to stop him were endless.

But as he continued to move toward her, she couldn’t. He grazed his lips overs hers in a tortoise-like motion as if testing the waters. His lips were warm and moist and her body pulsed and sparked as they generated heat hotter than hell and half of Georgia.

He drew back and held her gaze, presumably giving her one last chance to move away.

But she couldn’t. His consoling words had comforted her, his embraced had warmed her, and his kiss had left her wanting so much more.

As she acquiesced, the world around them transformed into a magical wonderland. The moon’s light softened and the stars appeared so close that she could reach out and touch them. Light glittered across the dark water like pixie dust and her belly fluttered as if it had been brushed by fairy wings.
