Welcome Elizabeth! Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth Noble and I write M/M romance for Dreamspinner Press. When I’m not doing that I’m a veterinary nurse. My entire front yard is a flower garden and I enjoy spending time outside winter and summer staring up at the night sky.

When and why did you begin writing?
I don’t ever remember not writing, or telling stories. Before I knew how to write I would talk endlessly about the stories I’d invented in my head. I began writing them down somewhere in the first grade I guess. I can’t imagine not writing.
What’s the hardest part of writing your books?

I think the hardest part is more of a frustrating thing. There are days when I’m at work, can’t be writing and I have ideas or just want to get something finished and can’t.

How do you celebrate a new book?

Each one is a little different. Sometimes I buy a little gift for myself I’ve had my eye on, take a few days off and read other people’s books and there is definitely always pizza involved.

Can you share something about your works in progress?
I’d be delighted.
Currently I’m working on a scifi trilogy. The trilogy name is Novi Orbis (which translates loosely to New World). Book #1 is called Into the Blue. It’s about a group of explorers traveling to another world/time, they aren’t sure which yet.

Here’s a little sample:
Cole had seen pictures of The Blue, on news feeds on his data-tab or the larger vid monitor in their suite. Who hadn’t seen pictures?

Those pictures, however, didn’t do the reality justice. Not even close.

Iridescent with swirling shades of blues, purples and silvers constantly moving through it, from one level to the next, giving name to it: The Blue. Never still, the thing was in constant motion, crests and waves forming ridges that perpetually moved around one another, some clockwise, some counter clockwise like a supernatural whirlpool.

At regular intervals, every eight seconds, Cole counted them off in his head, the center would pucker and quiver and a single drop would form. It pulled away from the rest, going far enough up that when it came back down to rejoin the main body it created more ripples. Looking at it, Cole could tell it was thicker, denser than water, yet completely liquid.

“So, what do you know that the general public isn’t told?” Cole spoke in a low voice, feeling like he was in some sacred place.

He felt Dreyden shrug and lean closer, turning more so he looked over the rail. His forearms rested on the barrier, hands loosely gripping one another, yet his shoulder pressed against Cole’s. “Not much really. They gave me what research I’d need to know I suppose. It’s all on my data-tab, you can read it whenever you want.”

Cole shifted so he leaned more firmly against Dreyden’s arm, appreciating the feel of hard muscle under his shirt. By no stretch of the imagination could Cole be considered short or small, but compared to Dreyden he was, everyone was. Dreyden could—and had when they’d rough housed—easily pick Cole up and carry him if he so desired. That unexpected thought caused Cole’s cock, full and moist, to push more insistently against the zipper of his pants which suddenly were too small. His breath quickened and his concentration vanished.

He glanced quickly at Dreyden then away and back to The Blue. A person’s data-tab was considered very private and even Cole’s mother didn’t pry into his, so Dreyden’s open invitation was clearly a sign he considered them partners. Cole was no longer a small child to be looked after, but someone important in Dreyden’s life. There would be Dreyden’s contracts with the women he bred, along with many and much more personal things than just data collected over the years on The Blue that he was trusting Cole with.
Licking dry lips, Cole managed to croak out, “You know where my data-tab is, if you ever want to use it.”

Dreyden snorted. “Yeah, if I could ever find it under all your dirty laundry.”
Emotion in the form of more heat from Dreyden’s body rose and assaulted Cole. Dragging in a deep breath to calm himself and quiet his suddenly very overactive body did the exact opposite when his nostrils filled with the heady and powerfully masculine scent that was Dreyden’s own. It was familiar and comforting as it had always been but now it seemed to have intensified a hundred fold and was working on his body in a way more forceful than ever before. How the people working on the level below didn’t notice Cole had no idea.

Author Bio: Elizabeth Noble started telling stories before she actually knew how to write, and her family was very happy when she learned to put words on a page. Those words turned into fan fiction that turned into a genuine love of M/M romance fiction. Being able to share her works with Dreamspinner is really a dream come true. She has a real love for all things sci-fi, futuristic, and supernatural and a bit of an unnatural interest in a super-volcano in Wyoming.

Elizabeth has three grown children and is now happily owned by an adorable mixed breed canine princess named Rosie, and two cats, Murphy and Yeti. She lives in her native northeast Ohio, the perfect place for gardening, winter and summer sports (go Tribe!). When she's not writing she's working as a veterinary nurse, so don't be surprised to see her men with a pet or three who are a very big part of their lives.
