OCMD after Sandy

Many cities in the Northeast were ravaged by the monster storm and my heart goes out to everyone who suffered Sandy's wrath.  Here in PA, my family was without electricity for days but for the most part we came through it okay.

In Ocean City MD, Mother nature hit us pretty hard.  The Ocean City fishing pier is half gone and there is flood damage in many businesses and homes, especially on the bay side. The high winds split utility poles and tore off business signs. Although covered with sand, the boardwalk is okay.

Here's a few photos of our smaller beach, minus the dune fencing lost in the storm.

But OC is bouncing back and yesterday the dolphins were frolicing in the much calmer waves.

Glad to hear you were all safe and sound. I'm in NH and a couple hundred thousand of us lost power ... but didn't suffer near the damage as expected thankfully. I have a cousin in New Jersey who had a tree drop on her house and another who's trapped because of the debris in the road, but they're alive and that's what matters!

TY! We were very fortunate. My daughter lives in NJ and they're all ok as well. Sending good wishes to your family.
